Tava Waters is the largest exterior re‐construction project in the Denver Metro area consisting of 140 buildings and 1,523 units. After new ownership purchased The Breakers at the end of 2016, they immediately hired Aspen Group to do a complete exterior remodel of the property. New roofs, siding and paint represent the majority of the project, but Aspen Group was also hired to do miles of concrete replacement, vent cleaning, gutter replacement, and plumbing work.
COYOTE RANCH, Centennial, CO
500 Unit apartment complex that included repairs and exterior paint. A spray, back‐roll, and spray application was used to ensure proper coverage of stucco surfaces. We used several notices to communicate the paint schedule to all the residence. Several areas needed repair along with staining and varnish work to main club house.
STURBRIDGE TOWNHOMES HOA, Englewood, CO
Aspen Group, Ltd needed to do several repairs to the exteriors of each of the buildings. Siding, window trim, shutter replacement, gate repairs all were addressed with our carpentry crews prior to the preparation and two coat process. This community had us also do all of their concrete walkway replacement and sealant work around each of the units. Concrete included curbs, sidewalks, stairs, and patio replacement.
CHERRY GROVE, Aurora, CO
The Cherry Grove project was a 200+ unit complex with significant siding and painting needs. It was a part of a construction defect lawsuit and also included the repair of decks and installation of new windows.
EMBARCADERO HOA, Aurora, CO
During a routine roof inspection Aspen Group identified a serious structural problem. Under the guidance and direction of our engineer, we identified that the safety of the homeowners was at risk, so we immediately shored up the 1st and 2nd floors where the structural members had been compromised. Aspen Group removed the existing damaged sheathing, lumber and building materials. We Installed sistered floor joists to support both floors and new structural posts where the existing.
We then installed a new structural beam, new floor sheathing, sill plates and top plates where the existing ones. Then we put in the new batt insulation, wall sheathing, and exterior vapor barrier. Aspen then needed to install new exterior foam insulation, and reinstall the vinyl siding. When the repair was complete, we had to perform roof repairs and install a scupper tied into the downspout to minimize further water intrusion. We are currently in the process of reviewing the remaining needs of the community and will begin production later this year.
THE COLONY AT CHERRY CREEK HOA, Parker, CO
Multi‐family community with significant repair and painting needs. Several structural repairs and stairway replacements were required due to poor workmanship during the original installation. Communicating and working with each resident to ensure they had access to their homes was important to our client, so we spoke to each person impacted by the work we were about to begin, in person, and then coordinated individual plans for each homeowner. By coordinating with the homeowners schedule, we avoided all potential access problems for residence during construction.
CENTENNIAL AIRPORT, Centennial, CO
We are the preferred contractor at Centennial Airport and DIA. Key projects include runway concrete replacement, asphalt replacement, epoxy floor coatings, and flat roof maintenance.
SILVERADO II CONDOMINIUMS, Winter Park, CO
Aspen Group installed 250 Squares of EPDM 90 Mil Black Royal Edge Membrane System to the roofs at Silverado II. We then installed a Unity Rubber Paver Surfacing System as the finished for a more enhanced roofing system designed for foot traffic. They now use this much more usable space for wedding venues and other functions.
